Rugby Swimming Club has a proud 50-year history in the town, offering both speed swimming with swimmers representing and competing in Open Water and Masters events. They provide coaching and development of swimming, and to provide the opportunity and the encouragement which enables all members to reach their full potential within the sport of swimming.

Rugby Artistic Swimming Club

Rugby Artistic Swimming Club first started in 1972 when it was a demonstration sport. It has developed into an Olympic sport which combines the grace of dance, flexibility and acrobatics of gymnastics and the strength and endurance of speed swimming. It requires a huge amount of dedication but also gives the swimmers great pleasure and life long skills such as teamwork and confidence.

Rugby Triathlon Club is a friendly, vibrant and competitive club with over 140 members. Development of the club has been steady and the club has a thriving and successful junior section with a growing number of local children (8 to 16 years) enjoying the challenges of the sport, the friendships and the competition. Friendly encouragement and advice is available to all at whatever level, be it entry or elite. The club is friendly and vibrant with a healthy number representing Great Britain.

Rugby Cricket Club

Established in 1884, Rugby Cricket Club has something to offer no matter your cricketing background. They run matches in the Warwickshire Cricket League and the T20 midweek league. They also offer senior cricket at a variety of standards and competitiveness. For juniors, they run U11, U13 and U15 teams, and also have a growing women’s section.

Rugby & East Warwickshire Hockey Club

A men’s, ladies, masters, and juniors club, formed in 2007 from two former clubs, Rugby HC and GEC Rugby HC that boasted combined histories of close to 200 years. They’re a club that can offer something to everyone from School Year 1 to a highly active Masters section. They stretch players and give opportunities to the most aspirational players but never lose sight of the recreational and social side. Whether you’re a novice or experienced player, umpire, coach or volunteer we should have something to suit.

Rugby Area Netball Association

Formed in 1983, at that time there were only 2 netball clubs in Rugby who played in the Coventry and Daventry league. The association was formed to encourage more women to take up the sport. It started with 7 teams and 1 division and now has 18 teams across 2 divisions. It’s a fun friendly league for ladies of all ages and abilities on a Sunday morning.

Coventry Rugby Club

Alongside the competitive teams, Coventry Rugby Club aslo offer activities for the community including camps and walking Rugby. The sessions are perfect for those over 50 and looking to get more active. As the name suggests, running is forbidden as is passing the ball higher than shoulder height. There are also no high tackles – or indeed any tackles – and, crucially, no scrums, rucks or mauls, making it perfect for all abilities!
